Our club is based in the grounds of The Lant Community and Sports centre. This lovely building has plenty of space, each of the rooms are filled with light from the large windows and patio doors and we are surrounded on all sides by acres of green playing fields and tennis courts.

Breakfast club opens at 7.30am each morning where breakfast cereals, toast and milk are served before our walk to Balsall Common Primary school. Your child’s safety is our top priority, all children wear high visibility vests for our walking bus taking children to and back from school. Infant and Junior children walk separately and we ensure a high staff ratio. We are always happy for parents to accompany us on the walk to see just how well organised it is.

We also offer school club pick ups and drop off and collection for tennis lessons at The Lant.

Our afterschool club collect your children from their classroom at the end of the school day. The short walk back from school each afternoon gives each child the chance to exercise and enjoy fresh air after a busy day. On return to club we serve a hot tea as we know how important a hot, nourishing meal is after a long day at school. Each night there is a choice of main dishes (with vegetarian option) and a dessert, this is freshly prepared on a daily basis by Jane, our resident chef at our Balsall Common Nursery.  We are always open to feedback about the menu from the children.

We have an open door policy so please pop in any time when we are open to meet the staff and explore the club and grounds.

Infant children have full use of the ground floor while Juniors have recently had the upstairs converted for their sole use. A homework and quiet area is provided to encourage children who want to study. We have a great comfy cushion area for a wind down and social time with friends.

We make full use of our spacious grounds and escape outside whenever we can. Children wear high-vis vests whilst outside and staff accompany them for ball games, structured group games are free play.
We have a children’s council so that the kids can choose their own activities or develop their ideas for the club. Ask to see the latest council minutes, they make an interesting read.

We run an exciting holiday club for all inset and out of school days – take a look here.
