Capellas Balsall Common Nursery offers you a warm and welcoming environment where your child will thrive. Our staff team are trained in our unique model of childcare which has been designed and developed by our Managing Director and Consultant Psychologist.
All of our nursery areas are designed to feel safe, secure as well as inspire and feed imaginations. We know that learning only takes place when little ones are comfortable in their environment.
We work hard to build excellent relationships with our parents and are recognised by Ofsted for our inclusive approach between home and the nursery.
We love to explore our local sights and sounds and have our very own travel train to support us getting out and about. We have great relationships with our wider community and often have interesting visitors to share the work they do and support the children’s learning.
Your role within the nursery is as important as ours and we value the partnership we have with parents. We have recently established our parents’ forum which you are welcome to join to support the smooth running of the nursery and promote how we work with you as parents and carers.
Using our tailored software, you can monitor the learning and add observations yourself
so we can see what happens at home. We welcome you into the setting at any time and have formal parent’s evenings to let you know about progress.
We employ safe, knowledgeable and experienced staff. We want you to feel confident that we recognise the importance of your trust in us. We listen to your feedback and work hard to ensure you and your child are welcomed to the Capellas family. We continue to improve and grow our practice every day.
At Capellas we offer full and part time care for babies and children up to 5 years old and in out of school clubs we offer care until 12 years old. We take great care to ensure that our settings offer a warm, friendly and safe environment with on-site parking. We are proud of the fact that many of our families first hear about us through recommendation from our current parents.
“Staff know children very well and form close attachments with them. They observe, assess and plan for children’s individual needs, and use information they gather from parents about their child to plan from the start of their placement”
