In Moons we welcome the adventurous and inquisitive toddler. A large bright room with direct access into the garden, here we begin to introduce a more structured way of learning.
With daily circle times learning about shapes, colours and numbers, story time, role play, small world play, art, construction and table top activities our staff will support your child’s learning through a mix of adult led and child led play. As a Moon, your child moves onto toddlerhood and becomes more curious, independent and confident.
Because of the more structured learning pace in the moon room, this encourages the children to work with others, communicate their needs and gain an increased understanding of the world around them and how it works.
Our Moon room has a cosy corner to share books, a role play area, perfect for sharing and learning about others as well as a kitchen area where we offer messy, sand and water experiences.
We closely follow your child’s routine offering potty training support and nap times as your child needs.
We have the nature garden for our outside play and learn about growing, tasting and learning about food.
Approaching their 3rd birthday we begin to think about a move to our preschool room and the children become Rockets.
