We care for our smallest guests in our purpose built Star Room. The layout of the space is designed to enable it to feel cosy and safe, whilst allowing newly mobile babies the space to explore. We offer a range of stimulating, safe and fun activities to ensure that your baby learns. With outdoor fun, music time and sensory play our aim is to build a well-rounded learning experience.
Learning is all about exploring and discovery and we use our time to focus on the senses with lots of stimulated play from music time to glueing and painting to story time to messy play be it jelly, pasta or baked beans.
We work closely with you to mirror the routines that you have begun and ensure this is consistent to support you. At Capellas we know that the first two years are critical for the development of the brain and other major skills such as language.
We pay close attention to mealtimes and work well with our resident cook to ensure that all of our babies’ food is in line with weaning and health standards.
We are often seen out and about in the ‘travel train’ our six-seater transport which includes safety belts and a social time with a great view.
We assess children on their individual development needs and work with you to begin preparing a phased transition to our next phase room (Moons) from 18 months.
